How do I connect the Chrome extension to my Recut account?
After installing the extension from the Chrome Web Store, navigate to your Recut account Settings (https://app.recut.in/user/settings), copy your API key, click the Recut extension icon in Chrome, and paste your API key into the prompt. You only need to do this once!
Can I shorten links with my custom branded domain?
Yes! If you have configured custom branded domains (e.g. go.yourbrand.com) in your Recut dashboard, you can select your domain directly from the dropdown inside the extension popup before generating the short URL.
How does the right-click context menu feature work?
Simply right-click on any hyperlink on any website you are browsing and select 'Shorten this link with Recut'. The link will be shortened in the background and the short URL will be automatically copied to your clipboard.
